Object of the month

Object of the month

In homage to the History of the World in 100 Objects,  by Neil McGregor, made during his time as Director of the British Museum, Sutton Libraries is running an Object of the Month.

August’s object was a brick revealing the family run business of Cheam bricks and some interesting stories surrounding the members of the Waghorn family including a court case with the wife of William Richard Waghorn (founder of the Waghorn pottery).
